In Loving Memory of Thomas P. Boylan, Jr.

Thomas P. Boylan, Jr., 83, of Dunmore, died Monday morning in Hospice at the Sacred Heart, Dunmore.

His wife, the former Sharon Lowe passed away on July 9, 2011.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Thomas P., Sr. and Anna Burns Boylan and was a graduate of the former Scranton Central High   School.

He moved to Alaska over 40 years ago where he tended bar for many years and considered himself a “true” Alaskan. He loved his cabin on Haney Island and the company of his many friends on Stephan Lake. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving are daughters; Marti Boylan Baranski and husband Alan, Tobyhanna and Vickie Clark and husband Jonathan, Battle Ground, Washington.  Sons; Thomas and wife Lisa and Patrick, all of Dunmore.

Grandchildren; Kristy, Mollie and Thomas Boylan

Sisters; Margi Vernal and Jean Nealon and husband Bob. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his daughter; Maggie Boylan

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday morning at 9:30am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church, 322 Chestnut St., Dunmore.

Interment is private at the convenience of the family.
