Dorothy
Henslovitz, 90, of Livingston, NJ, died Tuesday morning at home. She and her husband, Marvin Henslovitz, were
married for 67 years this past December 25th.
Born in
Dunmore, daughter of the late George and Helen Teitelbaum Kruger, she was a
Dunmore High School graduate, Class of 1942, and had worked at Sears-Roebuck
for twenty-five years. She was a member
of the Synagogue of the Suburban Torah Center in Livingston and was a lifelong
member of Hadassah.
Also
surviving are sons, Elliot Henslovitz and wife Terri of Englewood, NJ, and Alan
Henslovitz and wife Sharyn of West Orange, NJ; a sister Sally Moskovitz of
Scranton; five grandsons; six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Claire
Edelstein, and brothers Samuel, Morris and Henry Kruger.
Graveside
services will be held today at 10 a.m. in the Dalton Jewish Cemetery by Rabbi
Mordechai Fine. Shiva will be observed
Tuesday afternoon through Friday evening at the home of her son Alan, 40
Herbert Terrace, West Orange, NJ; and Sunday through Tuesday morning at the
home of her son Elliot, 211 N. Woodland St., Englewood, NJ.
