Zinaida Kislyuk, 90, of Scranton, died Monday morning in the Jewish Home of Eastern PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leiba Kislyuk, in 1994.
Born in the Ukraine to Tsal and Faiga Schvartsburd, she had been employed as a hospital bookkeeper prior to retirement. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Jewish Home for the compassion and care shown to Zinaida during her times of need.
Surviving are her sons, Gennady Groysman and wife Bella of Scranton, and Alex Sheldon of New York City; grandsons Eugene and Alexander of Scranton, and granddaughters Innessa and Michelle of North Carolina; three great-grandchildren in Scranton and one in North Carolina; a brother, Leo Schvartsburd of Israel; nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held today at noon in the Dalton Jewish Cemetery by Rabbi Dovid Saks.
Friends will be received during shiva at 6 Laurel Dr., Apt. U, Scranton today from 2-4 P.M. and Wednesday through Sunday 1-3 P.M.
