Dear Suzie,

So sorry to hear from Michael of your Mother's death. I remember both Caren and Julie writing about her. She left a wonderful legacy for her grandchildren.

Joe and Susie,

I know it has been so many years since I have seen you, but when I saw that your mom had passed, I felt the need to reach out to you. I have many memories of your mom from my very early childhood on Madison Avenue. Your mom was a wonderful source of strength and support for my mom, who was a single parent during those days. She was our go-to babysitter. My sister, Linda, and I spent many hours in your home. When I was older and we moved to Harrison Avenue, she was the secretary at Audubon School, where she continued to support me in every way possible. May your mom rest in peace. She was a very good woman.

Dear Susan and Family,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
I worked with your mother and Mr.Gross, the principal ( whose funeral was yesterday ) for many years at John Audubon School.
She always spoke so highly of you and your brother. She was very proud of you both. She once gave me her recipe for Jewish Apple Cake which I still have and treasure. Once when we talked she and I were both so excited because her granddaughter,Julie, I believe, worked at Lehman Brothers where my son worked but in different parts of NY . We couldn't get over it. She was truly a sweetheart and will be missed.
My deepest sympathy.
Sincerely,
Joanne DeLeo Kavulich
