Robert J. Brower Jr., 59, Scranton, died Saturday.



Born in Scranton and raised in Dunmore he was the son of
Mary Evelyn Barrett Brower, Dunmore and the late Robert J. Brower.



He was a graduate of Dunmore High School and a member of
Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, Dunmore.



Prior to retirement he was a loyal and dedicated
emergency dispatcher for both the City of Scranton and Lackawanna County
Emergency Services. He was also a member of I.A.F.F. (International Association
of Fire Fighters) Local #60 and was an avid collector of antique automobiles.



Surviving are a brother, Paul J. Brower and wife, Donna,
Old Forge and nieces, nephews and uncles.



The funeral will be Wednesday from the
Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 East Drinker St., Dunmore, with
mass of Christian burial at 11:00 A.M. in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church,
Chestnut St., Dunmore.



Interment in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Dunmore.



Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.



Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mt.
Carmel Parish, 322 Chestnut St, Dunmore, 18512.

I'm sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I worked with him at the Lackawanna Comm Center. I always managed to make our days entertaining, especially when it got busy. I'll miss ya Bob.
