Marion C. Williams,MSN,BSN,NHA,RN,CCRN, 63, of Dunmore, passed away Sunday morning in the Geisinger-Community Medical Center, Scranton. She is survived by her husband, Robert. The couple celebrated 47 years of marriage on August 10th.

Born in Scranton, she is the daughter of the former Concetta Muracco and the late Raymond Mills and was a graduate of Dunmore High School, Community Medical Center School of Nursing and Bedford University where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing. She worked for many years as a nurse and an administrator for various nursing homes.  She was currently employed by the Greenridge Nursing Home, Scranton.

She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved life and helping anyone in need. She had a passion for nursing and touched many lives over the course of her career. She was a self-made strong and amazing woman. Her inspirations were her family, God, and her friends. She aspired to be the best wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend that she could be. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Also surviving are sons; Robert and Keith and his wife Angie, all of Dunmore. A sister, Teresa Buselli and husband Joseph, Dunmore. Brothers; Leo Mills, Dunmore, Frank Mills and his wife Kathy, Scranton and Brian Mills and his wife Lora, Dunmore. Grandchildren; Emily Williams, Jerymn and Robert Williams, Dunmore and a great-granddaughter, Molly Lewis. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Mills.

The funeral will be Friday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St. Dunmore with Mass at 9:30am in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Smith St., Dunmore.

Interment will be private in the Dunmore Cemetery

Friends may call Thursday from 4-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Elite Bunny Hunt C/O Bernie Kelly, 317 Ward St. Dunmore, Pa 18512.

My heart goes out to her family. I knew Mari for a very long time My family knew her for almost 40 years She will be dearly missed. She is now an Angel
