Josephine (Jo) Cuff Judge, 82, died Friday morning in Atlanta, GA. She and her husband Donald Judge have been married for 60 years.

Born in Dunmore, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Connors Cuff. Jo was a graduate of Dunmore High School class of 1950 and moved to Fairfax VA in 1958. She worked for the A&P central office then at the World Bank in Washington, DC.

Surviving are a daughter Margaret Judge Philbin and her husband Brian, grandchildren Michelle Sberro and Christina & James Boyles; great granddaughters Layla & Amayah Sberro; sisters in law Betty and Romaine Cuff and Delores Judge, and brothers in law John and Phil Judge.

She was preceded in death by brothers John, James, Patrick and Thomas Cuff and a sister Helen Volz.

The funeral will be Tuesday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc. 318 East Drinker Street in Dunmore with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church, Chestnut Street in Dunmore. Interment will follow in St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow.

 Friends may call Monday evening from 5-8pm

Preferred memorial contributions may be made to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) or Little Sisters of the Poor.

Jo was always so glad to see us. She made us feel as if we were special to her. We will miss her welcoming smile.
