It's so very true Jr "was always there for anyone who needed his help." Back in the day I sold magazine subscriptions door to door and I remember knocking on his and Marcia's modest apt door on Throop St when they were just starting out together, they invited me in and purchased a couple subscriptions even though they likely never read any of them. That's just the way he was.
I have fond memories of my Confirmation sponsor and his dad, my Uncle Johnny, mostly at the shop eating delicious Dunmore hoagies for lunch together and those scary, but way too much fun, rides with Jr when he would test run the '64 1/2.
Marcia, 51 1/2 years? Wow.

John was a school mate since eight grade Dunmore Junior High School. Because of John and his junior high swing band, I took up playing the guitar. In my mind he'll always be about 140 lbs with a full head curly hair.

Rest in peace old friend.
