I was told recently of Joel's death and want to offer my condolences to the Myers family. I worked with Joel at Berkshire Hathaway and remember him fondly as a wonderful teacher and colleague. I know he will be greatly missed.

Dear Gail, Scott and Charlie,
Our thoughts are with you in this difficult time. We have very fond memories of our Plainview days. Your Dad was a huge influence in my life, a mentor, and a friend. He set me on my post college path. I never knew that he was an Eagle Scout, but that figures! He always held himself to the highest ethical behavior in business.
