James was the son of the late Frank and Viola Kraft O’Hora. He was educated in Scranton schools, graduated from St. Patrick’s High School, Class of 1950, and retired from O’Hora Eye Care, which he founded. On August 4, 2002, Jim received the ultimate gift of life, a heart transplant. This selfless act by a grieving family gave Jim and his family another twelve years together. Jim’s family is eternally grateful.

Dear Rita and Family:
You both came into our lives as strangers, we met
at Davita Dialysis, both Jim and Skip were patients there. Jim was such a gentle man, always
a smile on his face, never a complaint from his lips. You, Rita are a breath of sunshine, you brightened my life and gave me the gift of friendship and laughter. We all became a second
family there, such caring, good people, both patients and caregivers.
May God bless you Rita and your family.
With deepest Sympathy for your loss.
Love, Dawn and Skip
