Irwin Kalisher, 85, of Boca Raton, FL and Scranton died Friday in Florida. His wife, the former Joyce Wasserman, died in 1997.
Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Esther Gerstein Kalisher. He was a member in perpetuity of Temple Israel.
Surviving are two daughters, Judi Offenberg and husband Alan of Armonk, NY, and Margie Kane and husband Joshua of Denver, CO; six grandchildren; one great-grandson and his partner Lillian Levy of Scranton.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Temple Israel Cemetery, Dunmore.
Friends will be received during shiva on Monday and Tuesday evenings from 7-9 p.m. at the residence of Lillian Levy, 100 Rhonda Dr., Scranton.
