Kenneth R. Travis, 57, Bethel Park, a former resident of Chinchilla, died Tuesday at Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh. His wife, Nancy Gatto Travis, is a former Dunmore resident.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Kenneth Robert and Margaret Jones Travis. A graduate of Abington Heights High School, he recently retired after 35 years of service with PNC Bank, Pittsburgh.

Also surviving are a daughter, Tiffany Holobovich and husband, Joseph, Philadelphia; a son, Ryan Travis, Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Taylor, Olivia, Grace and Henley; a sister, Kim Travis Kuzmick and husband, Dave, Chinchilla; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore. Interment, Dunmore Cemetery.

Family and friends may call Saturday from 11 a.m. to the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.

I am so very sorry to hear the news of Ken's passing. I send my thoughts and prayers to you all. I was a high school friend of Ken at Abington Heights. There were many many a day that he made brighter and lighter with his keen humour and wit. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Hi Kim, We went to high school with Kenny. We're so sorry to hear about his death, He was way too young. Your family, and his, are in our prayers.

I am so very sorry for your tragic loss. Ken was a wonderful man with a great heart, kindness and sense of humor.

My father enjoyed spending time with all of you. I am grateful he was part of your wonderful family.
