Dear Edna, Ryan, Marc and Michael,

I am so sorry for your loss. Your family has been on my heart and mind as of much lately. In thinking about you, I stumbled upon Allen's passing.

Edna, you and your family made a big impact on me so many years ago: growing up for those few short years in Scranton. You accepted me as one of your own. I want you to know how grateful I am for you and your family. I watched how you raised your children with your faith and heritage as an axis to your life. Thank you!

I pray God comfort you with his peace in your time of loss.

Message: To everyone who had the honor of knowing Al.
The world is definitely less bright without Doc.
To his boys, he was extremely proud of all three of you. He loved talking about you, from being little kids to the amazing adults you've grown into. You were the sparkle in his eyes.
Then, you gave him grandchildren! It was always so sweet to see and hear his anticipation of time spent with his grandkids.
Edna, you were quite clearly the love of his life and his best friend. I loved hearing of your adventures together.
I had the privilege of working at the office with Doc and Chrissy. I have the best memories.
He is greatly missed and I send my sincerest condolences to his family.

I am so heartbroken of the passing of our dear DOC, I was very fortunate to have worked for him in my younger years and to have remained friends and patient with him for 40 years. He was a true insperation, kind, smart and also fun loving man. I have been blessed to have known him. My heart goes out to the entire Friedberg family during this most difficult time in their lives. All my prayers for comfort and healing. Marie Occhipinti Tomaskevitch
