Celia Avery, 87, of Dunmore, died Monday Morning in VNA
Hospice at Geisinger Medical Center, Scranton.



Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph
and Stella Panek Bush and attended the Scranton schools. She was an avid bowler
and enjoyed fishing especially at Lake Wallenpaupack. She loved traveling and
vacationing in the Caribbean and gardening.



The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at
the Geisinger Community Medical Center and the VNA Hospice for all of their
care and compassion.



Surviving are daughters; Peggy Lavigna and husband Fred,
Harrison, NY; Barbara Rowen, Dunmore; a sister, Gertrude Matyelwich, Lititz, Pa
and brothers; Bernard Bush and wife Barbara, Bonita Springs, FL; Edward Bush
and wife Lorraine, Clarks Summit and Thomas Bush and wife Jeannie, Scranton. A
grandson, Jeffrey Avery and great-granddaughter, Kirsty Avery, both of
Scranton. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.



She was preceded in death by a sister Verna Hnatko and
brother, Henry Bush.



The funeral will be Friday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis
Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore with a service at 10am in the
funeral home.



Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst



Friends may call Thursday from 4-7pm



Memorial Contributions may be made In Memory of Celia to the
VNA Hospice, 301 Delaware Ave. Olyphant, Pa 18447
