Anthony J. Masi, Sr. passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, June 2, 2016 surrounded by his loving family in Levittown, PA.  He was 74.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Stephen and Carmella Mecca Masi.  Anthony grew up in Dunmore, and moved to New Jersey in the 1950s.  Anthony graduated from Dickinson High School in 1959, and after high school, he studied electricity systems at Lincoln Technical Institute and worked at the Erie Lackawanna Railroad.  In 1966, he became and electronic specialist for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for over 30 years until his retirement in 1997.  Anthony’s hobbies included fixing and racing cars, and he was a jack-of-all-trades, able to fix or build anything.

Anthony is predeceased and will join his devoted and beloved wife of 43 years, Marie M. Masi.

He is survived by his three children, son Stephen Masi, Sr and his wife Denise Cassidy Masi; his daughter, Carol Masi Quinones and husband Nestor Luis Quinones; and son Anthony Masi, Jr.; two brothers, Leonard Masi and Joseph Masi; five grandchildren, Chrystal Marie Masi Rios, Alyssa Masi, Michael Masi, Carmella Masi, and Stephen Masi, Jr.; as well as three great-grandchildren, Isabella Marie Rios, Christopher Patrick Rios, and Cassidy Toribio.

The funeral will be Monday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc. 318 East Drinker Street in Dunmore with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Smith Street in Dunmore. Interment will follow the mass, in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Dunmore.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 5-9pm.

So sorry for your guys loss he was great Man and will be missed by many and will always be looking down on u guys watching over you my prays r with the family at this time love always the hudsons
