Ann Marie McDonald Wagner

Ann Marie McDonald Wagner

Dunmore, PA July 9, 1930 ~ March 5, 2016 Date of Service: March 8, 2016

Ann Marie McDonald Wagner, Dunmore, went peacefully to her heavenly home on Saturday, leaving her beloved husband, Joseph Wagner.

Born in Dunmore, she was the daughter of the late Thomas “Mose” and Mary Clark McDonald.

A graduate of Dunmore High School and Lackawanna Business School, Ann Marie was employed for many years at Capitol Records, where she made some lifelong friends and where she met her husband. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a blessing to all who knew her.

Ann Marie was a faithful member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Dunmore.

She is also survived by her son, Thomas (TJ) and wife, Lori Wagner, and a granddaughter, Holly Marie Wagner, all of Scranton. Also surviving are her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews; as well as her two lifelong friends, Betty Bochicchio and Ann McCarthy.

Her love for her family and friends was enormous. Visiting with her granddaughter and her nieces and nephews brought her great joy.

She was also preceded in death by her only sibling, Mary T. Carlucci, and her husband, Leonard.

The family would like to thank Dr. Louis Adamo and the staff at Allied Services for their many years of care and to the staffs of Hospice of the Sacred Heart and the Compassionate Care Hospice of NEPA for all their care. For all the comfort you have given to Ann Marie throughout the years, we could never thank you enough.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church, Chestnut Street, Dunmore. Friends may call at the church Tuesday morning from 8:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.

Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Dunmore at the convenience of the family.
