Angeline E. Maglio, 104, a longtime resident of Dunmore, and a current resident of Mountain View Care Center died Tuesday morning. She was the wife of the late Louis Maglio who died in 1991.

Born at home in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late James and Michelina Intoccia Manze. Angeline was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Dunmore and was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School.

Surviving are three daughters, Maryann Spott, Clarks Summit, Margaret Talamo and her husband Salvatore, Doylestown, and Suzanne Tielle and her husband Frank, Old Forge, a sister, Margaret Simoncelli, Jessup, ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son in law, Frederick Spott, and four sisters, Helen Connors, Antoinette Turrisini, Mary Capalongo, and Susan Manze.

The funeral will be Friday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc. 318 East Drinker Street in Dunmore with Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church, Chestnut Street, in Dunmore. Entombment will follow in the Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton.

Friends may call Friday morning at the funeral home from 9:30am-10:30am.

My sincere sympathies to the Maglio family and relatives on the loss of Mrs. Maglio. She was blessed with a very long life.
