Molly Forman, recently of Boca Raton, FL and formerly of New York City and Scranton, died Wednesday at the West Boca Medical Center in Florida. She was the widow of the late Louis Forman and the late Alexander Singer.

Born and raised in Scranton, daughter of the late Isaac E. and Sarah Hannah Lefsetz Bernstein, she attended Scranton public schools and went on to graduate from Lackawanna Business College. In 1946, she moved to New York City where she managed her husband’s law office. She was a former board member and secretary for the Metropolitan Synagogue and was also a member of the Workmen’s Circle Branch 1013.

Surviving are nieces Ruth Mayer, FL, and Rachel Bernstein, CA, as well as several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters Helen Miller, Jeannette Pepper, Theresa Goldstein, and Esther Wolkoff, and brothers Richard, Abram and Maynard Bernstein.

Graveside services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Dalton Jewish Cemetery by Rabbi Joseph Mendelsohn. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Israel, 918 E. Gibson St., 18510.
