Pauline Preambo Cicerini, 95, of Dunmore, died peacefully at home on Wednesday surrounded by her family.  She was the wife of the late Angelo Cicerini who died November 28, 1987.

 Born in Dickson City, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Soltis Preambo.  She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Dunmore, their Altar and Rosary Society, and had a great devotion to Jesus and Mary.  Pauline was a loving mother and homemaker who will be deeply missed by her family.

Her family would like to thank Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their compassion and dedicated care, especially to Jeanne Sembrat, Dr. Edward Dzielak for years of excellent care, and to Gloria, Lisa, Renee and Ann. 

Surviving are one son Nazzareno Cicerini, Dunmore, and seven daughters, Dolores Warrick, Scranton; Marie Hogan, Edison, NJ; Rose Kenny, Iselin, NJ; Paula McManus, Buffalo, NY; Madelyn Fron, Scott Twp., Geri Gratkowski, Marco Island, FL; and Theresa Becchetti, Dunmore, her caretaker with whom she resided.  She has left a legacy of 26 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law James Robert Warrick, a brother Latzo Preambo, three sisters, Helen Barthold, Agnes Weinberger, and Matilda Matuszewski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church, Chestnut St., Dunmore.  Interment in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.  Friends may call Sunday at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, from 5-8 p.m. and Monday morning in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church from 8:45 a.m. until the time of mass.

Grandma Cicerini or "Grandma Pinni" as my daughter called her, leaves us with great memories, years of wisdom, lots of great conversations, advice and love. I will miss going to visit her & watching mass on her TV. Love you Gram & thank you for building such a large and amazing family.
