Ross J. Cordaro, 75, Dunmore died Friday in Community Medical Center.
He and his wife the former Sally Moore would have celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on Aug. 15th.
Born in Dunmore he was the son of Pauline Melnick Cordaro, Dunmore and the late Angelo Cordaro.
He was a graduate of Dunmore High School and was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, Dunmore.
Prior to retirement he was employed by Mc Gregor Iron Works, Dunmore and was a member of the Iron Workers Union and was an active bowler.
He was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather whose true enjoyment was his family and especially attending all the events his grandchildren and great-grandchildren participated in.
He was proud to have been listed as a Gift of Life Organ Donor.
Also surviving are five daughters, Sheila Hallinan and husband, Michael (Sid), Dunmore, Debra Canavan and husband, Wayne, Scranton, Sally Judge and husband, Robert, Dunmore, Cathy Corbett and husband Martin, Minooka and Susan Pallo and husband, Jeff, Jessup and a son, Ross A. Cordaro and wife Dana, Dunmore.
Grandchildren, Tasha Canavan Keating and husband Joseph, Kimberly Hallinan Coyle and husband, Robert, Wayne Canavan and wife Faith, Michael Hallinan and wife Aubrey, Robert Judge and wife Abby, Brian Judge and wife Megan, Casey Judge, Kelly Corbett Baldoni and husband, Michael, Sara Corbett, Jared Pallo, Brianna Pallo, Ross Cordaro and Gianna Cordaro, Great-Grandchildren, Tristan and Brayden Canavan, Haylie Keating, Adyson Hallinan, Quinn Coyle and Jack Judge, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded In death by a granddaughter Michelle Canavan.
The funeral will be Tuesday from the Carlucci-Golden DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 East Drinker St., Dunmore, with mass at 11:00 A.M. in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church, Chestnut St., Dunmore.
Interment in Milwaukee Cemetery.
