Ellen Ann Kaufman Carroll, 61, Bristol, RI, died Monday evening at the St. Elizabeth Manor in Bristol, Rhode Island, after a prolonged illness.

Dearest Sandra, Howard, Irving, Russell, and to all the extended family,

I am writing with such deep sadness in my heart. I want to express my deepest condolences to you and your famiy. I am thinking of you and sending you my love and strength. I had heard that Ellen had suffered for while, but I know that she always had your daily love and support. I still have the best childhood memories and I share deeply in your sorrow. I shall call you later, Sandra and I will also write to you in RI. I do hope to meet Russell, Jaime, and Rebecca in Florida and to see you all some day soon. I live in Aventura.

Love, Miriam
