Rose Marie Burge 83, Scranton, died Sunday in the Northeast Pa. Hospice at Regional Hospital of Scranton.

She was the wife of William Burge, who died 1993.

Born in Dunmore, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mahalia Lutz Lisk.

She was a graduate of Dunmore High School and was a member of the Dunmore United Methodist Church. Prior to retirement she was employed in the local garment industry.

Her family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Gino Merli Center and the Northeast Pa Hospice for all there kind and dedicated care .

Surviving are a daughter, Mary Pierre and husband Douglas, Covington Twp., Pa. Three sons, William J. and wife Roberta, Scott Twp., Philip, York, Pa. and David and wife Barbara, Old Forge.

Nine grandchildren, Hannah and Sam Pierre, William, Matthew, Joshua, Danielle, Alexandra, David and Charles Burge. Two great-grandchildren, Melanie and Kale Burge and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick Lisk.

The funeral will be Thursday with services at 10:00 A.M, in the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral  Home Inc. 318 East Drinker St., Dunmore, by Rev. Philip T. Wanck.  Interment in Maplewood Methodist Cemetery.

Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M.
